Monster’s social media team hit the road this week, traveling to San Diego to cover the SHRM 2010 Conference on a growing range of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, and this blog, for example). This year, we’ve added two HR practitioners/bloggers to our in house team to help us deliver more in-depth coverage and help us share the story of #SHRM10.
Together, the #monsterlive social media street team will be weighing in with each day’s most interesting news and views.
Meet the #Monsterlive Social Media Street Team
Jennifer McClure (@cincyrecruiter): Talent strategist and president of Unbridled Talent, LLC.
Ben Eubanks (@beneubanks): HR Ninja and author of Rock the PHR: HR Certification Guide; find him on his blog, UpstartHR.
Janet Swaysland (@jsways; contributing to @monsterww): I’m the global head of communications and social media here at Monster.
Kathy O’Reilly (@kathyoreilly): Monster’s Director of Social Media Relations and the primary voice behind @monsterww.
Matt Charney (the voice of @monster_works): Monster’s Social Media Engagement Manager and talent acquisition specialist.
Eric Winegardner (@ewmonster): Vice president of client adoption (aka training and consulting); “recruiter by DNA.”

Love getting to know everyone via vlog that I haven’t met personally. It’s great to see those of you that I do know too. Enjoy the week. I am looking forward to following this from home and hearing more about the exciting things Monster has to offer HR and recruiting pros. Also looking forward to any insight on SHRM and what the future of HR holds for us from a new media standpoint. Thanks for the Street Team coverage. What a great concept.

Thanks, Trish,
Glad you can be with us via MonsterThinking. We’ve got a great team working hard to bring a fresh and useful perspective wherever we go. Do let us know if there’s a particular topic you’d like to see us cover, here at SHRM and on the blog in general.

Great to see this being done. Even though I wasn’t able to attend it will be great to actually see it through the eyes of the commentators on vlog and blog. It will be a little easier to watch since it is hard to catch up on all the reading. Looking forward to it!
