Monster 5 for Friday – Captain America Edition

It would be tempting to segue from Harry Potter right to the next summer blockbuster – Captain America – and the title character’s relentless struggle to find truth, justice, and….well, whatever it was that Captain America was searching for. Perhaps many recruiters feel similar to the ol’ Captain, that candidates who match specific and in-demand skill sets are about as elusive as the classic movie villain.
Well, we here at Monster are very much inspired by the releases of our own one-two punches of recruiting power: first, the recent launch of BeKnown, and yesterday’s launch of SeeMore.
Whereas BeKnown is designed to empower candidates in their quest to build a powerful professional network within the world’s largest social network, SeeMore is designed to empower recruiters and HR professionals as they search for the perfect candidates.

At last, the kind of x-ray vision into candidates’ true abilities that HR professionals have always craved, one that will let them cut costs by drastically reducing the amount of time they spend sorting through resumes. Basically, in classic comic book parlance, it’s “Ka-BOOM” meets “cha-ching!”
