Attention to the candidate experience is a must-have in today’s world of Internet recruiting, says Informatica’s Brad Cook. In this video interview, he shares recruiting best practices that helped his company win a CandE award this year at the HR Technology Conference.
“It’s such a competitive market out there that the only common denominator we have is how well we treat and that’s really critical to anyone running a global recruiting function today,” he said.
Of his recruiting process, Cook is especially proud of the results of a user feedback survey on his HR portal. While many online user surveys go ignored, within two weeks, 200 candidates had completed Informatica’s survey. And, unsurprisingly, he found that not only is user experience important for the company, it is also important for the candidates. “They don’t want to fall into a black hole.
