Kathy O'Reilly

Kathy is the Director of Social Media Relations for Monster Worldwide, and one of the primary voices behind @MonsterWW on Twitter. Kathy joined Monster in 2009, and contrary to what her family thinks, she does much more than just hang out on Facebook and Twitter all day. Her primary role is to oversee social media outreach and engagement strategies on multiple social media platforms to generate brand awareness and positive relationships in both traditional and social media. Kathy began her career in traditional broadcast media, where she spent 15 years producing nationally-syndicated TV talk shows and magazine format TV news and entertainment programming. Her biggest claim to fame was producing the new Mickey Mouse Club for the Disney Channel, featuring a few of those famous kids who went on to become icons in music, film, TV and tabloids. She eventually moved from TV to the internet, and spent 10 years in PR, media relations & corporate communications at Lycos, that other search engine everyone used before Google.
